FOR A HAPPY STAY IN CASA DE LA ESCRITURA YOU ARE KINDLY ASKED TO FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE RULES:
What we wish is that all guests feel comfortable. We just ask that they respect the apartment and the environment as it were their home.
If you don’t respect our check-out time as we arranged previously by e-mail I will charge 3 euros every extra 15 minutes you stay in the apartment. So please do not fall asleep or act like you forgot about it and don’t make Mrs. Elena waiting outside the door to start the cleaning.
Most important:
1. Respect the neighbors, is a building with several apartments. No unnecessary noise, control the TV volume, observe the hours of sleep. You are on vacation, not the neighbors.
2. You can’t smoke in the apartment, but you can do it on the terrace, you have 17 m2 for it.
3. Take care of the apartment, utensils, appliances. Keep the space clean. Be careful with the common areas of the building (entrance, stairs...).
4. For safety, and consumption. We follow simple rules on energy conservation, therefore you should not leave lights, stoves, air conditioning and gas switched on when you are not home.
5. WARNING! Please learn by hearth the address and the number of the intercom to not boder the neighbors: Esc. A 2º-3ª
6. In case of any emergency about the apartment please call all the people in charge.
7. Do not carry in your bag the direction of the house while the keys, because of the many robberies to the tourists in Barcelona. Please be very careful for your safety in the subway and during your stay in the city. In case of key loss, the customer will be charged with 35,00 €.
8. INTERNET WIFI: YOU CAN FIND THE INFORMATION IN A FRAME ON THE TABLE
9. You’ll find this house in a clean and efficient state. Please give it back as you found it. Please do not leave dirty dishes. Wash the bath tub and the sink of the bathroom before leaving.
10. In case of need, empty suitcases can be placed above the closet in the main bedroom. We suggest to put hand luggage within the larger bags.
11. We recommend you to have the highest precaution while using the following items: electrical devices, laundry, sofas and any other good you may find in the house. Also be careful while having breakfast on the bed.
12. Please respect the windows while opening and closing. There is a red shutdown to close, a green one to open. No abuse the shutdown.
13. When you live the house please remember to close all doors and windows, it's not necessary to shut the blinds.
14. Separated wastes (glass, plastic & metal together, paper) can be disposed of in rubbish cans in the square. They are located out of the building: on your right you will find the one for organic wastes (brown cover) and on the left the green can for glass, yellow for plastic, blue for paper. After 21:00 hours.
15. The plants in the terrace have their watering system, you can refresh them just a little bit every 3 days with the tube. If you see the plants suffering and that the watering system is blocked please send me an e-mail at:

16. In case of damages found in the house the hosts will be called to honour the debt.
17. It is forbidden to organize any kind of partY, the neighbors will call the police for the noice.
18. In case of late check-in please maintain absolute silence in the hall to the elevator and in front of the apartment door, to not disturb the neighbors. In the presence of children, please keep them controlled at anytime. Especially do not leave them playing alone in the terrace.
19. Please do not feed the birds thatsometimes visit the terrace and leave the umbrella closed if you are not in the apartment of it’s a windy day.
20. You are kindly asked not to lay hot or wet objects on the furnitures, you will find mats at hand.
21. Please keep clean all electric devices, and, when you live the house please don’t forget to clean the kitchen, the oven and the cutlery.
22. Bathroom hygiene: please avoid throwing any stuff into the water closet, you will find the small litter can.
23. We recommend you to wash pavements and every stone surface with water only. Kitchen’s furnishings can be clean exclusively with lightblue alcohol and a soft rag that you will find in the cabinet.
24. Do not leave wet mop over the parquet because it would cause water infiltration and ruin the wood.
25. Hosts who violate the rules will be asked to leave the apartment within 24 hours. With no money refund.
26. For small emergencies there is a kit to heal wounds.
27. In the apartment there is are private closets, please do not try to open them. We use them as deposits for supplies. Thanks!
28. To regulate the heating temperature you can use the box on the wall of the living room located on the right of the kitchen’s door.
29. You can find appliances’ instructions in the album on the table in the living room.
30. You can buy new Nespresso’s capsules in the store located in Passeig de Gràcia, 55 or Spanish similar ones in Caprabo Supermarket by the name Capsulas Marsilla.
31. IF YOU DON’T FIND SOMETHING THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE APARTMENT (LIKE BASIC SUPPLIES) PLEASE WRITE AN E-MAIL TO: book@barcelonapart.com, DON’T WAIT TO COMPLAIN JUST WHEN YOU CHECK OUT BECAUSE IS VERY UNRESPECTFUL.
32. If somebody remains locked in the bathroom, you can open the door with a coin from the outside, it is a special and simple lock easy to open.
